Are you looking for an awesome cookie recipe that is very good when it’s prepared? Here comes recipe number two by the cookie marathon:
Ingredients:
250g liquid honey
100g sugar
125g butter
500g flour
1teaspoon baking powder (soda)
1 package gingerbread spice
1tablespoon cocoa
1 egg
For the glaze:
1 egg white
about 250g powdered sugar
Step 1 ♥:
Heat up and stir honey, sugar and butter in a tiny pot until it boils. Give it in a bowl and let it cool down completly (make sure it’s compltly cool, the middel can still be burning hot!)
Step 2 ♥:
Mingle flour, baking powder, gingerbred spice and cocoa. Add the egg and the honey mixture and kned it with the mixer and the dough hooks until it’s a smooth dough. Close the bowl with a lit and let rest for at least 2 hours.
Step 3 ♥:
Strech the dough about 0.5 cm (0.25 inch) thick and cut the gingerbread with cookie cutters in any shape you like. Place the cookies on a baking sheet covered tray and bake at 180°C top and bottom heat (160°C circualting air) for about 12-15 minutes on mid-high.
Step 4 ♥:
After baking cafully pul the bakingpaper off the tray and hafe the cookies sit until they cooled down completly.

Classic:
Beat the egg white until stiff and slowly add the powerded sugar. Fill it in a piping bag and garnish sht gingerbread.
Or just go wild like we did and garnish with what ever you want to *blink*.
Tipp: This recipe is perfect for baking with kids. You simply prepare the dough and spread it out, the kids can cookie cut and th cookies are thick enough for them to place the cookies on the tray on their own and decorating if fun anyways!
